Malton & Norton RUFC is a genuine community club whose primary purpose is to provide safe and enjoyable rugby for hundreds of male & female players (20+ teams) across a range of ages and abilities. It also provides facilities for supporters and other club users.

The financial cost of providing, maintaining and continually improving these facilities is significant and membership income from all sections of the club is a vital contribution.

For the coming season we have simplified the membership structure and now offer 7 categories of membership with rolled up match subscriptions:-

Vice President
Life Membership
Senior Player
Junior Player
Mini Player
Micro Player

Note: Our Membership period is 1st August to 31st July.

HOW TO PURCHASE MEMBERSHIP
Create an account with pitchero either online or on the pitchero club app, then head to the shop and select the correct membership for yourself. Parents are required to become club members before purchasing membership for their children.

PLAYER REGISTRATION
The RFU requires that every person playing any form of rugby is affiliated to the club & registered on GMS

Player REGISTRATION is a separate entity to Player MEMBERSHIP one of the reasons we've pulled membership away from GMS the amount of failed payments which needs to be followed up by a club official. Everyone know GMS struggles at times

Purchasing Player Membership and Player Registration are two separate processes, both of which need to be carried out on a seasonal basis.

All players registered for a completed season must re-register for he new season. It is reasonably straightforward to register or re-register as a player on GMS hopefully membership can be as straight forwarded on Pitchero.

In summary purchasing player membership does not register or re-register that player.
NOTE: When renewing player membership or re-registering as a player do not create a new Player record - select the existing one.

CLUB WEBSITE
Just to confuse matters further it should be pointed out that just registering to GMS or the club's pitchero website simply applies to the website and NOT to the Club further action is required to register to play on GMS or buy Membership on GMS.
